Why hire a chef when we have AI to do that for you! Robots Cook Now!
This robot kitchen will first make delicious food and then even clean up after you are done! Today we’re going to meet a fully automatic robot kitchen that will not only save your effort to prepare food from scratch but also save the efforts to clean up afterwards. Its service promises to do everything, so you don’t even have to lift a finger, now that’s what we call a cherry on top of a cake.
The price tag on this may make you break into a sweat; however, Moley, the brand that manufactures these robots claims to have more than 1,000 already. The company is based in London introduced the world’s first-ever robotic kitchen. The Moley Kitchen robot is inspired by Russian mathematician Mark Oleynik.
It does cost a fortune, though. The machine costs about £248,000, roughly it is equivalent to a house in the UK. However, fret not. The company claims to come up with more cost-efficient models with lower prices in the future.
“What you are looking at here is the world’s first consumer robotic kitchen,” Oleynik said at the launch of his robot kitchen in Dubai. “Like all breakthrough technologies – cars, televisions and computers – it will appeal to enthusiasts, professionals and early adopters and is priced accordingly.”
He further went on the say, “We anticipate that our pricing will be reduced significantly over time with production volume, efficiencies and economies of scale.”
Tim Anderson, a well-known chef, along with his fellow chefs Nicole Pisani and Andrew Clarke, has cumulated 30 dishes to be a part of the system’s capabilities at the launch with fresh recipes added every month. Customers are also given an option to record and customize their own dishes!
